One more villager was critically injured today after armed Kuki militants fired rounds of gunshots towards Naranshena Village in Bishnupur district.
The armed Kuki militants have been attacking the villages using sophisticated arms since yesterday morning. One person was killed while several others sustained bullet injuries in the attack yesterday. Another succumbed while undergoing treatment.
“The firing continues till today evening. No central security force was seen on the attack side and the villagers of Naranshena are using all means to protect their villages and paddy field from the aggression by the heavily armed Kuki militants”, our reporter said.
Today another person sustained a serious bullet injury in the attack by Kuki militants. He has been admitted to Raj Medicity, Imphal for treatment.
