ZUF cautions for public restraining motion pre and during election

Office of Chief Secretary, Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has cautions serious action against malpractice during pre and post election time.

A statement said that the approaching 12th Legislative General Assembly Manipur is deeming controversial and contradicting to normal social ethical life of the public. Common sense speaks that morality should run and rule over all political circumstances and developmental aspect of the society. Greed based politics or party based and bias feeling among the general public and communities during election often creates much harm and hurt leaving behind scars of wounded feeling and spoiled relation. The fact is causing destructive social environment and put the whole society at chaos and commotion all around. Therefore, in order to avert and refrain from causing detrimental elements out of the motion of the impending election, concerned publics and communities are informed, urged and cautioned to maintain utmost thoughtfulness, honest disposition and peaceful environment during the election. Further appealed to avoid corruptive or greed-based interest and public violence in any manner in the society. No alcoholic or money related commotion or violence should be allowed to occur in society. No party leaders or members or candidates should project or use controversial and provocative languages in the election campaign or media messages. All civic citizens and leaders should practice and exercise high sense of morality, honesty and truthfulness in campaigning for electing the right representative leaders. Any party or members of any political party if found violating or non-compliance to this notification shall be dealt with stringent action.

This information is served as final for strict adherence and intended to promote and prevail peaceful and fair election in the interest of public, the state and all concerned.
