Alleged rapist and murderer Thiyam Sureshkumar (20) son of Th. Ingocha of Wangbal Heiruthong Leikai who was arrested from Sugunu area was produced before the CJM Thoubal today and remanded for 7 days in police custody. Report said that the person had confessed the crime he had committed. The person was arrested on charge of raping and murdering his cousin sister.Meanwhile family members and locals of the deceased girl today accepted the dead body after the local MLA of the reason assured appropriate action against the culprit.
