Inter Gc/Bn(Ops)CRPF Hockey Tournament organize by 109 Bn CRPF under the aegis of IGP, M&N Sector CRPF started yesterday at Mongsangei Makha Leikai. The tournament was opened by Sh. Vinod Kumar, Commandant 109Bn CRPF.
Speaking on the occasion Sh.Vinod Kumar, Commandant exhorted the players to play the game in the spirit of the game and such tournament not only build up team spirit de corps but also make one fit and healthy. Total eight teams comprising of CRPF Battalions deployed in Manipur as well Nagaland participated in the tournament. The opening match was played between the host team that is 109 Bn and 32 Bn where 109Bn registered a comprehensive win over 32 BN by 10 goals to nil. The second match also saw a comprehensive win for 86 Bn beating 87 BN by 7 goals to nil.
