PRIDE selected MU student Jessy Thiyam to participate in ‘Know Your Leader’ programme

Jessy Thiyam, a student of M.A. 4th Semester, Department of English and Cultural Studies, Manipur University (MU) has been shortlisted to represent Manipur University by the Parliamentary Research and Training Institutes for Democracies (PRIDE), Lok Sabha Secretariat in the ‘Know Your Leader’ Programme and ‘participation of youth in events in the parliament’ to pay homage to national leaders, and to celebrate the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on 9th May, 2025, according toa notice issued by the Office of the Dean of Student’s Welfare, Manipur University, Canchipur.
As per the notice issued undersigned by the university Cultural Coordinator Dr. Rajkumar Suresh Singh on Monday stated that Jessy Thiyam is amongst the 12 students selected by the PRIDE, Lok Sabha Secretariat, and the only student from the state to participate in the above-mentioned programme.
Jessy Thiyam shall depart from Imphal on 8th May, 2025 for the events. Manipur University wishes her success in pursuit of academic excellence.
