Naga Students’ Union Chandel (NSUC) felicitates meritorious students of Chandel district during its 44th Foundation Day celebration held under the theme ‘Lighting up the path of achievement’ on Tuesday at Chamdil Town Hall, Panchai.
Mothel Saka, Executive Magistrate, SDC (HQ) Chandel graced the occasion as Chief Guest while ZEO Chandel Y. Hemchandra Singh and Indrajit Wahengbam, Principal DIET, Chandel attended as Guest of Honour and Functional president respectively.
President of NSUC, Ruwnglar Elly Anal, while giving his presidential address, congratulated the students for their hard work, dedication, and achievements in their studies and inspire them to continue their academic journey and strive for further success. He further encourage the students to stay healthy and keep out of activities that are against the society. He also stated that for the last 44 years the NSUC has been standing for the welfare and interest of the student community and thank its units for the support and co-operations.
Speaking as the chief guest, SDC Chandel emphasised the important of organising such event and commended the NSUC for encouraging and acknowledging the students on their success and achievements. He also encourage the students to be sincere and thrive for quality.
More than 100 students and their teachers enthusiastically participated in today’s programme and certificate of excellence were conferred on the successful students of the district who excelled in various field and in the class 10 and 12 examination conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE.
The event was also graced by the presence of Ng. Gilbert Monsang, founding president of NSUC, Th. Angteshang Maring, president ANSAM, Dilbung Francis Thamdok, President CNPO, Rev. Shonnai Saka, President CNCF, DLOs, School Principals, Pastors and distinguished guests.
