Imphal Dec 19: Aribam Shyam Sharma’s Manipur Pony and Romi Meitei’s Lamphamda Ibeni will be screened today in the ongoing 8th Manipur State Film festival.
The film festival which began since yesterday is organized by the Manipur Film Development Corporation Ltd in its auditorium.
An open forum with the topic Manipuri Cinema-problems and prospects was also started from today. Screening of films will be lasted till the 24th of Dec.
The festival was inaugurated yesterday by the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and during his speech he had expressed his desire to frame a state film policy for the state.
