Jesia Khwairakpam’s English Novel “A Quell of Madness” released

Young author Jesia Khwairakpam released her debut English novel “A Quell of Madness” at the State Central Library Auditorium, Imphal, under the banner of Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur. The event was presided over by PAWF President Naoroibam Khamba Luwang, with Prof. Rajen Toijamba, Convenor of the Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, attending as chief guest.
Jesia expressed gratitude to the Forum, calling the publication a dream come true and revealed plans for a second novel. The book, spanning 100 pages, is jointly published by Dr. Khwairakpam Hilari and Dr. RK Bhanisana.
Distinguished guests included Sahitya Akademi Awardee Saratchand Thiyam, Translator Awardee Salam Tomba, and Dr. Ksh. Imokanta Singh. Dr. M. Priyobrata Singh reviewed the book, while PAWF Secretary Rakesh Naorem praised Jesia’s contribution as a sign of growing youth participation in Manipuri literature.
