Imphal, Sept 11:
Students’ Union of Kangleipak (SUK) launched a seven-day tree plantation programme under the theme “Shanghanlasi Kangleipak in connection with its 11th Foundation Day, which will be held on September 18.
SUK organised the tree plantation programme in ten different schools. The tree plantation programme was attended by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) Chairman, Secretary, Controller, and students of TG Higher Secondary, Wangoi Higher Secondary School, N. Tomchou Higher Secondary School, KP College, Kings Academy of Science, Princeton International School, Nambol Lairen High School, UNACCO school Nambol and Special Regular English school. Saplings were distributed to people passing the road.
