Imphal, Sept 8:
The Kholep Youth Club of Kholep Village, Saitu Gamphazol Block, Kangpokpi District, was declared the Outstanding Youth Club Award of Kangpokpi District for the year 2021-22 in recognition of its outstanding voluntary work rendered in the field of environment preservation, health care, early childhood care, and education, women empowerment, skill development of youths, national integration, and social harmony and development by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, one of the largest youth organisations in the world established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing rural youth avenues to take part in the process of nation building as well as providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skill.
The certificate of honour was bestowed by Ginbiakmuan Tombing, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kangpokpi at its office in Kangpokpi on 7th September 2022 to S Thangkhanlen Haokip, Joint Secretary-Kholep Youth Club and Dr. Lamtinthang Haokip, Advisor- Kholep Youth Club.
