Bar Council of Manipur conducts legal education program at Bishnupur

The Bar Council of Manipur (BCM) in collaboration with the District Bar Association, Bishnupur organized a one-day Legal Education Program today at the Hall of the District & Sessions Complex, Bishnupur.
The program was jointly organized under the initiative of the Legal Aid & Legal Education Committee of the Bar Council of Manipur. The event witnessed the presence of several legal luminaries including Koijam Modhusudon, Chairman of the Legal Aid & Legal Education Committee, Lairikyengbam Jayenta Roy, Chairman of the Bar Council of Manipur, Dr. M. Basanta Sharma, Secretary of the Council, Advocate Naorem Binodini, and Advocate Wahengbam Lata, President of the District Bar Association, Bishnupur.
During the session, Senior Advocate Salam Rupachandra, Executive Member of the Bar Council of Manipur, delivered an insightful lecture on Professional Ethics, while Member Ngangom Jotindra Luwang elaborated on the Rule of Law, highlighting its relevance and application in current legal practices.
Speaking at the event, Koijam Modhusudon stressed the importance of continuous learning and professional development for aspiring lawyers. He stated that such educational initiatives are essential to cultivate a deeper understanding of legal responsibilities and to encourage a commitment to ethical and effective legal practice.
