Bank of Baroda celebrates foundation day with tree plantation drive

On the occasion of its 117th foundation day, the Bank of Baroda launched a tree plantation drive. This initiative was carried out by the Bank of Baroda branches in Khangabok, Imphal, NIT, and MU.
The event took place at the premises of Imoinu Pukhri in Khangabok. Chief Manager of the Imphal branch, Nijolata Haobijam, highlighted the importance of the initiative, themed “Banking for a Greener Planet.” She stated that this tree plantation drive aims to address the urgent issue of deforestation and to foster a greener, more sustainable planet.
Nijolata Haobijam stated, “Recognizing the critical challenges posed by deforestation, this effort symbolizes our collective responsibility to protect and rejuvenate our environment. Planting trees is a step towards mitigating the adverse effects on our climate and ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.”
