In continuation of the “Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA)” campaign in Tengnoupal district, the district administration today extended its outreach efforts to Langol and Khunbi villages within Machi Sub-Division of Tengnoupal district.
The Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp was attended by SDC Tengnoupal, Chairman of the villages along with officials from Line departments of Tengnoupal district. The campaign witnessed participation of about 450 locals from the two villages.
As part of the program, line departments offering a wide range of services under one roofincluding PMJAY cards, Fisheries cards, certificates and Saplings from the Forest department were distributed to villagers. Moreover, services of registration and enrolment of several government schemes under various department were also provided during the camp.
The campaign under the initiatives of Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to saturate individual entitlements and create awareness among Scheduled Tribe (ST) populations across the country’s tribal-dominated regions.
The District Administration, Tengnoupal expressed its appreciation for the active involvement and support of all participating departments and stakeholders. The community was urged to make the most of the services and entitlements being provided through such outreach initiatives.
With the commencement of DAJGUA, Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps from June 16, the District Administration has successfully organized in seven identified villages across Tengnoupal district and the remaining four villages will be cover by the end of June.
