Assam Rifles celebrates National Science Day in Tamenglong and Noney

Reaffirming its commitment to education and scientific progress, Assam Rifles observed National Science Day 2025 on February 28 in Tamenglong and Noney Districts. The celebration highlighted the role of science and technology in addressing modern challenges and stressed the importance of fostering a scientific mindset for nation-building.
As part of the event, a Science Project Competition was held at Apou Kading School, Tamei, Tamenglong District, under the theme “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat.” A total of 48 students and teachers actively participated, showcasing their creativity and understanding of scientific concepts. In Khongsang village, Noney District, a Poster-Making Competition was organized, where 30 students and teachers from J R Memorial English School took part.
Both competitions were judged by a panel of local school teachers, and winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their innovative ideas and artistic presentations. The event provided students with a platform to explore scientific concepts and engage in experiential learning.
