As part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance efforts, the joint rescue team of All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) and Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) on Thursday evening received flood relief materials for affected families at the AMUCO office.
In response to the team’s call for public support, Wahengbam Laxmikanta of L.B. Steel House, Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai, contributed essential items including 75 kilograms of Meitei rice, 10 litres of mustard oil, and 30 kilograms of mangal kangtak (green gram) to the AMUCO office.
The joint rescue team has been working tirelessly, reaching out house-to-house to assist people severely impacted by the floods, particularly those unable to leave their homes. Volunteers are making continuous efforts to deliver food and essential supplies to the worst-hit families.
AMUCO expressed deep gratitude to Wahengbam Laxmikanta for his generous and timely donation. The organisation also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of its volunteers and members of MSF, reaffirming their commitment to stand by the people in this hour of need.
