A women’s Hostel constructed under the financial assistant of the University Grant Commission, UGC (NERO) Grant, XII Plant at YK College at Wangjing in Thoubal district was inaugurated by MLA Paonam Brojen today.
The Hostel constructed under the UGC Grant, XII Plant cost around Rs. 78 lakhs . It has 8 (Eight) rooms and 30 beds.
Besides, MLA Paonam Brojen Singh, Principal of the Y.K. College Prof. S.Giri Singh, Director of the College Development Council MU Prof. Th. Ratankumar Singh and Principal of DM Science Prof. Jadumani Singh attended the inaugural function of the hostel as dignitaries.
Other teachers and students of the YK College Wangjing were also attended in the inaugural function.
