Imphal, April 30: SDPO, ICDS Project of Sawombung Imphal East Ksh Subadani said that social welfare department has been providing various projects and benefits to the disabled and widows of the state including educational scholarships to disabled children, financial assistances for marriage of disable persons, unemployment allowances to the educated disabled persons.
She further appeals all eligible persons to apply for such benefits from the Social Welfare department.
President of WDM Oinam Inao Devi, president of Kuki Women Union Rose Mangshi Haokip, associate Professor of Nambol Sanoi College Prof. Dr. Salam Santibala, Manipur cultural editor Mutuwa Tomba and Principal of Nilopher English School Khoijam Shilly graced the function as chief guest, president, and guest of honour respectively.
As part of the function gifts were also distributed to the children of the widows.
