Chandel, Jan. 14: Village Chiefs’/Chairmen Association of Tengnoupal, Machi and Moreh Block urged the Deputy Commissioner Chandel to release the 11 days MG-NREGS wages and Material Component at the earliest. In a joint Press Statement signed by the Presidents of the Associations, the Chiefs’/Chairmen Associations strongly condemned the Deputy Commissioner Chandel for delaying and not releasing the 11 days wages and Material Component of MG-NREGS for the year 2016 till date. While urging to release the said wages and material component on or before January 25, the Associations also warned of launching agitation by imposing indefinite blockade in the District.
