A book titled “How to Read Without Tuition”, written by renowned author and retired principal Vijay Garg, was officially released today by S. Himmat Singh, President of the Teachers’ Association, Malout. The event was attended by a host of educators and well-wishers who lauded the author’s contribution to the field of education.
S. Himmat Singh praised the book for offering practical and accessible methods that encourage students to study independently. He described it as a timely guide that addresses the growing reliance on private tuition. Speaking at the event, Vijay Garg said the book aims to help students study with clarity and confidence using simple and effective strategies. He advised students to dedicate a specific time for study each day, begin with challenging topics when their minds are fresh, understand the syllabus thoroughly, break down chapters into smaller parts, and regularly revise and question themselves.
Garg emphasized that the book serves as a valuable resource for students, parents, and teachers, especially in navigating the challenges of competitive exams. The release function was also attended by senior retired teachers including Rakesh Jain, Puri, and Gurdeep Singh, who joined in appreciating the relevance of the book in today’s academic environment.
