Thoubal, July 8:The successful candidates of Progressive English School at this year’s class X examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was felicitated at a function held at the premises of the school at Lamding in Thoubal district today. MLA of Khangabok AC Okram Surjakumar, former member of Laimujam Manao, principal of YK College, Wangjing Soibam Birahari, principal of Heirok Higher Secondary School Thokcham Binoy and SDC of Lilong Longlam Ashakumar Singh were among the dignitaries who attended the felicitation. Along with words of encouragement and prayers for success in their future endeavors, the 82 successful students were presented with simple presents as their incentives. Altogether 85 students from the school sat in the board examples and out of them 38 passed in the first division, 41 in the second division and three in the third division
