Students enrage over government’s silence

Enraged students of Imphal College, Kwakeithel today burnt college properties – bench, desks, window doors, etc in protest against the class suspension since Feb 18. Speaking to media, Amakcham Malemnganba, Secretary of Debate and Extension said that the government and All Manipur College Teachers’ Association (AMACTA) must bring a resolution till March 16 and if failed to do so, the students threatened to intensify agitation.
