Second National Workshop on Central Public Procurement Portal was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 21st January 2019. The workshop was jointly organised by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance and National Informatics Centre,Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. During the workshop, awards were presented to the Best Performing States on electronic procurement. CPP portal was on implemented 2010 using GePNIC software of NIC.
Manipur was awarded as Best Performing State in North East India in eProcurement for the financial year 2017-2018. Miss Anna Arambam, Joint Secretary(Finance), Government of Manipur, Shri K Gopalkrishna Sharma, SSA, NIC and Shri L Sharat Singh, SA, NIC jointly received the award for Manipur from Shri Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY, Dr. Neeta Verma, DDG NIC and OSD Expenditure cum Secretary Designate, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
