‘Special Session is another game to calm people’

The Special Session for Manipur Legislative Assembly summoned by Chief Minister is another tactics to cool down the wrath of the people, said Sapamcha Jadumani, Chairman of Indigenous People’s Association of Kangleipak (IPAK), Manipur.
Even the State Government announced its stand to withdraw the contentious Manipur Registration of Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Workers (MRVTMW) Bill-2015 and implement a more appropriate law, the Ibobi government won’t allow implementing any law to protect the interest of native Manipuri, Sapamcha Jadumani, former Convenor of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) observed during an exclusive interview with Imphal Times.
He said that the state government is playing the “delaying tactics” to contain the people of Manipur and subjugate the ongoing demand for introduction of a law to regulate the ever increasing migrants.
