SOREPA, Kangleipak and condole death of KYKL cadre

The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak and its armed wing, the People’s Revolutionary Army (PRA), have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Moirangthem Nanao @ Ngamba (35), a cadre of Meeyamgi Yawol Lanmee, the armed wing of the proscribed KYKL.
According to a statement issued by M.C. Yaiphabi, Secretary of Publicity and Organization, SOREPA, Kangleipak, Private Moirangthem Nanao @ Ngamba lost his life during an encounter with combined troops of the Indian security forces and a joint revolutionary group along the India-Myanmar border on May 19.
The statement mentioned that Nanao was the son of the late M. Mani and Moirangthem Ongbi Loidang of Tuibong in Churachandpur district. He was described as a dedicated revolutionary who made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for the cause of the revolutionary movement.
SOREPA and PRA paid revolutionary homage to the deceased, acknowledging his contribution and commitment. The statement also conveyed solidarity with the family members and comrades of the fallen cadre, reiterating the organization’s stand in continuing the revolutionary path.
The final lines of the statement read in tribute:
“Glory to the brave warriors who never surrender. Victory to the revolution. Victory to the people’s struggle. Victory to the united masses.”
