Pangal Meitei Apunba Committee and staffs of Tuks and Bons Filling Station of Hapta staged a sit in protest at Bons filling station against yesterday’s bomb attacked at Tuck and Bons filling station, Hapta.
One of the protestor identified as Leisangthem Diya Devi said that oil pump is highly flammable and such attack may cause large damaged to the surrounding.
While appealing the responsible body to clarify the reason behind the attack, she also appealed not to commit such fatal incident in future.
Thingbaijam Thoi alias Jackson Singh (24), s/o (L) Th Kuber Singh of Pungdongbam Lai Manak Pungdongbam Mayai Leikai under Lamlai Police Station sustained injury in the attack.
Meanwhile, Brahmapur Bheigyapati Leikai Meira Paibi also staged a sit-in-protest against bomb attack at the residence of an Independent candidate of the last State Assembly election in Yaiskul Assembly constituency, Th Satyabarta (42), s/o Borchand yesterday evening at around 7pm.
A local people appeal not to repeat such action in the area.
