Seized liquors destroyed at Jiribam

Indian made Foreign liquors seized by the Jiribam district police during the monthlong drive from various area of Jiribam which had been handed over to the Excise Department Jiribam were destroyed by burning it in public yesterday morning. .
The excise authority dug the ground in the back side of its office complex located at Gularthon and burnt it inside the pitch so that no harmful gases are emitted. Among the destroyed seized liquor 205 cases of beer bottle were also included.
Top officials of excise department including Deputy SP L. Raghu and officer in charge of the Jiribam Police station T. Bangkabihari were also present while destroying the liquors.
