The second randomisation of polling personnel, a step to ensure the integrity and randomness of election staff assignments, in respect of six assembly segments of Bishnupur district was held today at the Conference Hall of NIC, Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.
The randomisation process was conducted in the presence of general observer for 1- Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Dr. Patel Dhavalkumar Kritikumar, IAS. District Election Officer, Bishnupur Lourembam Bikram, IAS; Additional District Election Officer, Bishnupur Hanjabam Bobby Sharma were also present along with SDOs and Nodal officers of the district.
Meanwhile, the District Election Officer has notified that the Assembly Segment Strong Rooms in Mini Secretariat complex, Bishnupur will be opened on the 5thof April, 2024 for commissioning of EVMs and VVPATs. The notice further informs all the contesting candidates or their election agents and recognised national and state political parties functioning within the district about deputing two representatives to be present at the time of commissioning of EVMs and VVPATs without fail.
