SEACO cautions on the mixing of Manipur Culture

While appreciating the state cabinet decision to establish Culture University, South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has cautioned the government of mixing of the Indigenous Manipuri Culture. In a press statement SEACO appealed not to convert the culture university as a gold mine or earn in the name of culture. SEACO further said that government should also establish Culture College besides the university. It raised the necessities of opening culture department in each college and school. SEACO also appealed to frame a concrete culture policy. SEACO further cautioned not to mix Hindu culture with the indigenous culture.
