The Special Leave Petition filed by the VC AP Pandey who is under suspension to the Supreme Court had been ruled out to proceed in the Supreme Court as a similar matter has been pending in the Manipur High Court.
the SLP was heard today and the SC order the Manipur High Court to hear the petition on October 30.
AP Pandey had earlier filed a petition to the Manipur High Court Challenging the legitimacy of the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the MHRD. GoM and The MU Community on August 16. Prof. Pandey also challenge the two member enquiry committee constituted as per the agreement.
Source said that hearing of the case at HC has been differed due to the SLP at SC.
