RPF condoles death of KYKL cadre

The Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Moirangthem Nanao @ Ngamba (35), a cadre of the Meeyamgi Yawol Lanmee (MYL), the armed wing of the Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL).
In a condolence message issued by Bangkim, Assistant Secretary of Publicity, RPF stated that on May 19, 2024, around 11 AM, Pvt. Moirangthem Nanao @ Ngamba, son of M. Mani and M. Ongbi Loidang from Tuibong, Churachandpur district, was martyred in a fierce encounter. The gunfight occurred in a sensitive frontline area near the Manipur–Myanmar border during a confrontation between revolutionary forces and the Indian Army along with its proxy force.
According to the RPF, Nanao sacrificed his life in service to the motherland, giving his all in the struggle to protect the future and sovereignty of Manipur. The outfit mourned the loss and extended heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, and comrades.
The RPF and its armed wing, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), also joined in paying tribute, stating that his sacrifice will not be forgotten and will remain a shining example in the ongoing journey of the revolutionary movement for the liberation of Manipur.
