Chandel, November 14: With an aim to strengthen the bond of love and oneness, Rural Peoples Development Federation (RPDF) organised a Get-together cum Ningol Chakouba program for women from different community married to Aimol Tribe at Aimol Khullen Village Community Hall in Chandel District today.
SL. Sangkaithang Aimol, Inspector Police Wireless ; Rev. S. Semi Serto, Executive Secretary Aimol Baptist Association (ABA); Rev. Lt. Ruitorkhup Aimol, Local Church Pastor and L. Stephen Modar, Project Officer DRDA Chandel graced as the Chief Guest, Blessing Minister and presidium members of the program.
During the program, ABA’s Executive Secretary Rev. S. Semi Serto invoked the Almighty’s Blessing for all the participant married women. Apart from presenting gifts, Rural Peoples Development Federation (RPDF) also hosted a grand feast for all the participants.
Altogether, over 60 women from different communities of Khasi, Meitei, Chothe, Kom, Chiru, Thadou, Mate, Thangal, Paite, Moyon, Rongmei, Maring, Lamkang, Tangkhul, Lushai attended the Get-together cum Ningol Chakouba program.
