RIMC Entrance Examination for January 2027 Term to be held on June 7

The Director of Education (Schools), Ng. Bhogendra Meitei, has informed that the entrance examination for admission to Class VIII for the January 2027 term at the Rashtriya Indian Military College, (RIMC) Dehradun, will be held on June 7, 2026 (Sunday) at Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, Imphal.
According to the notification, both boys and girls are eligible to apply for admission to the college. Candidates must either be studying in Class VII or have passed Class VII from a recognised school. They should be between 11½ and 13 years of age as on January 1, 2027, meaning they should not have been born earlier than January 2, 2014, and not later than July 1, 2015.
The notification further stated that detailed information can be obtained from Room No. 5A (Examination Section), Directorate of Education (Schools), Lamphelpat, Imphal, during office hours. It added that the notification of the qualifying examination is also available on the official website of the Rashtriya Indian Military College and the website of the Education (Schools) Department, Government of Manipur.
