The remaining Autonomous District Council members who were not present at the swearing-in on July 13 have been sworn-in to officially resume their duties today at the ADC Complex, Sangakpham at 10.30 morning. The members present at the swearing-in ceremony numbering a total of 25 (22 INC & 3 Ind.) consists of 9 INC and 2 Ind. from Chandel District; 10INC and 1 Ind. from Tamenglong; 2 INC from Ukhrul and 1 INC from Senapati District respectively. It may be mentioned that NPF had earlier expressed their intention of calling a total bandh in the hill districts of Manipur on July 27 if the state government fails to form the ADC in the six ADCs before July 25.
