The proscribed People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak – Progressive (PREPAK-Progressive) has expressed deep condolences over the demise of three revolutionary cadres. In a statement issued by L. Ningsingba, Assistant Publicity Secretary of PREPAK (Progressive), the party paid tribute to Capt. Chirom Chiromcha, 2nd Lt. Salam Henthoiba, and Pvt. Moirangthem Athouba, who lost their lives in the battle for Manipur (Kangleipak).
According to the statement, the three revolutionaries made the ultimate sacrifice in the ongoing armed resistance against India’s military forces and their allied troops. They lost their lives during an intense confrontation on January 27, 2025, while fighting with unwavering determination. PREPAK (Progressive) honored their martyrdom, stating that their sacrifice would be remembered as a significant chapter in the revolutionary struggle for Kangleipak’s sovereignty.
The party further extended its condolences to the bereaved families, comrades, and revolutionary organizations, acknowledging the deep loss suffered by their loved ones and the movement. PREPAK (Progressive) vowed to uphold their legacy and continue the struggle with renewed determination in their honor.
