People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has claimed responsibility of bomb attack at the garage of Thounaojam Bishambor Singh (60) s/o late Achouba of Lamphel Sana Keithel Pukhri Achouba Mapal on 4, April 2016 at around 11.40 PM.
The armed outfit in a release claimed that the attack was conducted by a mobile team of PREPAK against Th Bishambor, who had indulged in various corruption activities while he was working in Industry Department.
It also warned Th Bishambor to come forward to bring an understanding with the outfit on or before April 15, 2016.
Meanwhile, it also clarified that Leisangthem Somakanta alias Shamo (46) s/o late Shamungou of Lamphel Sana Keithel and Irom Boy (43) s/o late Iboyaima of the same locality, who have been arrested by a combine team of Imphal West Commando and 40th Assam Rifles in connection with the attack, are not related with the PREPAK and its Red Army.
