Imphal, July 18: Opium worth three lakhs in local market was seized by Lilong Police yesterday from an Imphal to Phundrei bound Tata Magic.According to Police the consignment of opium was seized from a woman identified as Nangjakim (40) alias Kikim, w/o. Yamkholun of Chandrakhong, Yairipok presently residing at New Checkon, Imphal who was travelling in Tata Magic which runs from Imphal to Fundrei at around 1.30 pm while the team of the Lilong police was on a regular frisking infront of Lilong Police station. The package of the opium was weighing around 3kgs.
