Nehru Yuv Kendra Kangpokpi and Senapati, Manipur has invited applications from youths for National Youth Corps Volunteers (NYC) for the year 2016-2017. According to a press statement issued by Salam Gourakishwor Singh, District Youth Co-ordinator, NYK, Kangpokpi & Senapati, Manipur, minimum qualification for the applicants should be class X passed and should be between the ages of 18 to 25 years as on April 1, 2016. It said two youths per block for NYK Kangpokpi and NYK Senapati will be deployed as NYK volunteers for one year. The NYK encourage ST / SC women candidates for the volunteer which will enjoy an honorarium of Rs. 2,500/- per month. Applicants should be from the respective blocks.
