NSF suspends ban on Manipur’s vehicles

Naga Students Federation (NSF) has suspended the ban on Manipur’s vehicles in Naga inhabited areas following state government action against the police personnel who were alleged of harassing the NSF executives at Mantripukhri area on February 14 morning.
In a letter to the President of the Naga Students’ Federation , the Additional Director General of Police, Manipur C Doungel had intimated that those involved in making trouble on the day has been suspended after conducting an enquiry by a senior police personnel.
Those suspended in connection with the February 14 incident at Mantripukhri near Route 39 are S.I. Md. Imtiya Rahman of Tamenglong district (presently attached to CDO/IE), Haviladar S. Gunachandra , Rifleman, W Jiten Singh, Rifleman O. Bishwanath Singh and N. Surchandrajit.
