Newly renovated RHTC building of RIMS at Bishnupur District inaugurated by RIMS Director

Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal inaugurated the newly renovated RHTC building of RIMS at Bishnupur District today.
During his inaugural speech, Prof. A. Santa Singh stated that the newly renovated RHTC will be a better training center for students. The doctors and students will also get benefit from this newly renovated RHTC while treating the patient and during their trainings.
The Director thanked the Manipur State Co-operative Union Technical Engineering Cell (MSCUTEC) for the timely construction of boundary walls of this center. Now, the doctors and students will feel safe and secure during their trainings and working in this center because of the newly constructed boundary walls. The Director further stated that the facilities like the construction of a badminton court and the development of its campus are in the pipeline. This center will serve more purpose if we convert it as a hospital in the long run.
Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital appreciated the Director for providing best facilities to the newly renovated center and said the doctors and students will feel comfortable working in this environment. He suggested to keep the center neat and clean Prof. Brogen Singh Akoijam, Dean (Academic) and Head of Department of Community Medicine expressed happiness for renovating and inaugurating the center within a short period of time.
Faculty members of Community Medicine Department, M. Hemanta Kumar Singh, Civil (Consultant)-1, engineering staffs of RIMS, officials, staffs and students were present in the inauguration program.
