MLA RK Imo kick-starts PM Viswakarma Scheme

Sagolband Assembly constituency MLA R Imo Singh today launch A mass registration camp for the PM Viswakarma Scheme at his constituency.
PM Viswakarma Scheme is a significant initiative of the government of India under the Prime Minister that aimed at uplifting skilled artisans, craftspeople, and other creative individuals. This program provides skill upgradation training and vital support to enhance productivity, credit, and marketing for their products.
The eventswere held at the residence of the Councillors of Ward No. 7 and 10 at Amudon Akham Leikai and Kuraomakhong, and also at the residence of social worker Shivananda Sharma at Wahengbam Leikai. Around 300 individuals were registered. Another camp for Ward No. 24 at the earliest.
Councillor Ward No. 7, Rk. Jiten Singh, emphasized the importance of the scheme, stating that it will empower skilled artisans, craftspeople and creative individuals to refine their talents and skills. This program is set to help them connect with a broader consumer base and increase their product outreach through the provision of credit and marketing support.
The mass registration camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community, reflecting the significant impact and potential of the PM Viswakarma Scheme in Sagolband Assembly Constituency.
MLA RK Imo Singh expressed his gratitude to the community for their active participation and pledged to continue working towards the development and empowerment of the constituency and the state at large.
