MHGEWA continues protest

Imphal, July 18: Agitation by home guard personnel demanding their wages as per with the police personnel has entered 26 days today . The protestor will resort to relay hunger strike from 20 of this month against the government failure to implement the order of Supreme Court and High Court of Manipur to increase the salary of the home guard personnel. MHGEWA has been staging sit- in-protest at different places since June 22, 2017. The association also held a meeting at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai Community Hall.
