Meghalaya CM arrives in Imphal, to review NPP’s ‘future plans’ ahead of Manipur elections

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma arrived at Imphal in Manipur on Monday afternoon. 

Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma is also the national president of the National People’s Party (NPP). 

Conrad Sangma arrived in Imphal, Manipur to review NPP’s preparedness for the Manipur Assembly elections. 

“Will be stationed in Manipur for a few days to talk future plans with party members,” said Conrad Sangma after arriving at the Imphal airport. 

Hundreds of Manipur NPP workers gathered at the Imphal airport to welcome the party chief and Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma. 

“Thank you, Manipur NPP unit, for extending a warm welcome on my arrival at the Imphal airport,” said Conrad Sangma. 

Conrad Sangma had left for Imphal from Shillong in a direct flight connecting the two Northeastern cities of the country. 

“I am happy to take my first flight from Shillong to Imphal. The new route was started recently and is proving to be quite a convenience to travellers,” said Conrad Sangma after boarding a Shillong-Imphal IndiGo flight.
