The Maring Uparup Assembly has appreciated that the decision of the State Cabinet to include Maring dialect within the school syllabi of Board of Secondary Education, Manipur. The Maring community apex body has extended its gratitude and thanks the authority for giving recognition to the ethnic dialect. It says, the inclusion of the ethnic language will bring opportunity to learn the language in their mother tongue in the schools. The decision of the government will also allow the dialect to grow and preserved the culture and traditions of the community.
