All Manipur Recognised private Schools’ Welfare Association, Imphal has appealed all non teaching and teaching staffs of all school directed to re-open to compulsorily vaccinate the 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
A statement of the association said that many teaching and non-teaching staffs of various schools are not submitting covid-19 vaccination certificate to the school authority.
The statement said that during a meeting of the association, chaired by the Director of education (S) on November 29 various resolutions including assurance from the education (S) department to ensure that all staffs get 2nd dose vaccination were taken. The Association while appreciating the move by the school education department assured to cooperate with the department to make sure that every staff gets 2nd dose vaccination. The Association also assured to arrange vaccination programme if there are at least 9 people gathered.
