Many distribute items to inmates at relief camps

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Manipur, (ABVP) Students for Seva (SFS) distributed study materials and Game & Sport items to students at Relief Camps today.
A statement said that ABVP Karyakarta distributed study material such that pen, pencil, exercise-book, scale, shapner etc. Game and sport item such that football, chess, ludo, carom etc. At the relief camps open at New Gold Club, Taretkhul Parking Relief Camp, Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO), Uyumpok Relief Camp and Bal Vidya Mandir School Palace compound the ABVP distributed items to more than 110 students of class 1 to 12.
On the other hand M. Asnikumar Singh, Chairman LDA Manipur along with Lt Gen LN Singh (Retd), volunteer/coordinator of Sewa International in collaboration with Sewa Bharati, Nagamapal, Imphal also distributed essential items (TVs, mattresses, mosquito nets, mosquito repellents, sanitary pads, toiletries, bed sheets, pillows, slippers, carrom boards, food items etc) sponsored by Sewa International USA at 5 relief camps in Bishnupur District.
Speaking at one of the relief camps, LDA Chairman M. Asnikumar said , “Our hearts go out for the children living in these relief camps. My heartfelt gratitude to Sewa International USA, Seva Bharati Nagamapal and Lt. Gen. LN Singh (Retd) for lending a helping hand to the communities affected by the ongoing violence in Manipur.”
“The efforts and sacrifices we make to achieve peace are far greater than anything. Peace has the power to overcome all evils,” he added.
He also appealed to all the communities in the state to work collectively for peace and harmony in the state.
