Manipur Alliance for Child Rights (MACR) has nominated Ningthoukhongjam Sanajaoba Meetei, Reporter I.S.TV. News, Kabib.K (IPS) , Sr. SP. Churachandpur and M. Pradip Singh (IPS), S.P. Senapati for the MACR’s Child rights Award .
A statement by Montu Ahanthem , Convenor MACR said that the award will be presented by the Governor of Manipur in the 9th Children Cultural Meet 2018, a mega cultural function being Organised by Manipur Alliance for Child Rights scheduled on September 29, 2018 at Tribal research Institute, Chingmeirong, Imphal.
Manipur Alliance for child Rights (MACR) which has been working in the field of child rights for the last 15 years in the state of Manipur.
The award is for honouring the relentless and dynamic engagement towards containing and giving justice to the murder and Child Sexual Assault cases, Child Trafficking menace particularly in hill areas and highlighting the inaccessible untold stories of children depriving their fundamental Rights to Education and Well being particularly in rural Manipur.
