LJP Manipur State Unite blames both Congress and BJP over delay in ILPS

Imphal, May 7: A day after JCILPS set deadline to all the political parties of the state to make their stand clear to the implementation of the Inner Line Permit system in the state besides criticising those for not giving proper commitment to the cause of the people, Lok Janashakti Party (LJP)- Manipur state unit today showed its support. In a press meet held today at its office at Babupara, the political party said that they will support to the agitation being spearheaded by the JCILPS for introduction of Inner line permit system in the state.
Speaking to the media persons, Ningombam Ibohal, spokesperson of the LJP Manipur state unit,  said that it’s been almost 9 month the 3 Bills related for implementation of the Inner Line Permit System in the State Assembly has been put on pending.
“We strongly urged the state government to give pressure to the central government and the president for giving assent to the three Bills passed by the state assembly”, Ibohal said. He further said that the three Bills were passed after series of agitation resulting to the cost of a student’s life and if the government failed to implement this Bills then the LJP will extend support to any kind of agitation spearheaded by the JCILPS. without getting fruitful the bill are laying on the table of the president of India almost 9 month.
Ibohal further blamed the BJP which is in power at the centre for remaining quite to the demand of the people of the state. Besides, the LJP spoke persons also strike hard to Congress party which is in power in the state over its failure in giving pressure to the central government to pass the Bills.
