Lions Club Of Thoubal distributed food items to the students of Heikakpokpi Blind School, Heikakpokpi, under the goal “Relieving Hunger” yesterday.
Since 2005 Lions Club of Thoubal has been inspecting the schools to find out bright students.
The programme was attended by Praveen Agarwal, Governor, MJF Lion,Lions Club International District 322-D, L.Marjitkumar, District Lions Club of Thoubal, President, and several Zonal Presidents.
The distributed items included 4 Bags of Rice, 35 Kg Dal, 1kg Chilli, 10 Packets Ngari (fermented fish), 10kg Onion, 10 salt packets, 2 bags potato, 10 litre Edible oil and 5kg Mattar.
Hindi Teacher of the school, Madam Darshim praises the Lions Club of Thoubal for their work.
