National Service Scheme (NSS) unit -2 of Waikhom Mani Girls’ college and omen for Better Society (WBS) Thoubal today organized a leaders’ meet for women leaders of various civil society organization in Thoubal district at Waikhom Mani Girls’ College. The leaders’ meet organized under theme Human Rights and Peace Building was sponsored by United NGO Mission (UNM) Manipur
The leaders’ meet was attended by Dr. Ch Ibohal, Singh, Co-ordinator NSS Manipur University was the Chief Guest while Dr. Ch, Ibohal Sngh, Principal of Waikhom Mani College presided over it. A.Manjuri Devi, Chairperson of Thoubal Municipal Council also attended as guest of honour.
Chairman of the organizing committee Sanatombi Devi in her key note speech said that the meet is being organized to make aware about human rights and the various other legislations that protects the interest of the women.
