Late Robinhood’s family appeals to relax bandh on Sept 3

Imphal, Aug 31: Family of late Sapam Robinhood today appealed the concern group to relax bandh on September 3, 2016 as the day is the 1st death anniversary of the deceased who was killed during protest demonstration for introduction of ILPS in the state.
Father of Sapam Robinhood, S. Romesh requested to relax the bandh called as it would hampered the traditional ritual ceremony of his son.
Chairman of Robinhood Foundation,  Ch. Shyamchand said that Sapam Robinhood was killed during students’ agitation demanding implementation of ILPS in Manipur. He expressed dissatisfaction to the enquiry commission headed by Justice Mutum Binoykumar Singh for delaying the enquiry till today instead of completing it within the stipulated time.
Shyamchand further appealed the state government to produce the enquiry report of Sapam Robinhood in the upcoming state assembly season which is scheduled to begin from September 2.
